The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful Intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your well beloved spouse.

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine

Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day, he rose again. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

St. Michael

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in Battle; Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke Him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits,who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, a world without end. Amen.

O my Jesus

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of your Mercy. Amen.

Lord Jesus crucified, have mercy on us.
Have mercy upon the whole world.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us,
And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed Fruit of they womb, Jesus.
O clement. O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Consecration to the Adorable Heart of Jesus

Adorable Heart of Jesus, the tenderest, the most amiable, the most generous of all hearts, penetrated with gratitude at the sight of Thy benefits, I come to consecrate myself wholly and unreservedly to Thee!

I wish to devote all my energies to propagating Thy worship and winning,if possible, all hearts to Thee.

Receive my heart this day, O Jesus!
Or rather take it, change it, purify it, to render it worthy of Thee;Make it humble, gentle, patient, faithful and generous like Thine,by inflaming it with the fire of Thy love.

Hide it in Thy Divine Heart with all hearts that love Thee and are consecrated to Thee; never permit me to take my heart from Thee again.

Let me rather die than grieve Thy Adorable Heart.
Thou knowest O Heart of Jesus, that the desire of my heart is to love Thee always, to be wholly Thine in life and in death, in time and eternity.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in Thee.Amen.

Consecration To The Blessed Virgin Mary

My Queen, my mother, I give myself entirely to Thee, and show my devotion to thee,
I consecrate to Thee this day, my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my whole being without reserve.

Wherefore good Mother as I am thine own,
keep me guard me, as thy property and possession.  Amen.

Fatima Prayers

Pardon Prayer

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love you!
I beg pardon for those who do not believe,
 do not adore, do not trust, and do not love you!

O Most Holy Trinity,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
I adore you profoundly
and I offer you
the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul,
and Divinity of Jesus Christ
which is present in all the tabernacles of the earth,
in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges,
and indifference by which
He Himself is offended
and through the infinite merits of
His Most Sacred Heart and
the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg of you the conversion of poor sinners.

Most Holy Trinity,
I adore you! My God, My God,
I love you in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Divine Mercy Prayer

Our Father
Hail Mary
Apostle's Creed

Eternal Father,
I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity
of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten beads of each decade:

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Conclude by repeating three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.   Amen

Come, Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful,
and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.

Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
And Thou shall renew the face of the earth.

O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of your faithful, grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ Our Lord.

By the late
John J Cardinal Carberry

Keep them; I pray Thee, dearest Lord.
Keep them, for they are Thine
The priests whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart.
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure --
Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them and  remember, Lord,
they have no one but Thee.
Yet, they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host,
That daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed,
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.

Baroness de Hueck Doherty

A priest is a lover of God.  A priest is a lover of men.
A priest is a holy man because he walks before the Face of the All Holy.
A priest understands all things.
A priest forgives all things.
A priest encompasses all things.
The heart of a priest, like Christ's, is pierced with the lance of  love.
The heart of a priest is open, like Christ's, for the whole world to walk through.
The heart of a priest is a vessel of compassion.
The heart of a priest is a chalice of love.
The heart of a priest is the trysting place of human and divine love.
A priest is a man whose goal is to be another Christ.
A priest is a man who lives to serve.
A priest is a man who has crucified himself, so that he too may be lifted up and draw all things to Christ.
A priest is a man in love with God.
A priest is the gift of God to man, and of man to God.
A priest is a symbol of the Word made flesh.
A priest is the naked sword of God's justice.
A priest is the hand of God's mercy.
A priest is the reflection of God's love.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, in you we adore the eternal origin of all life.

Born of the Father before all time, you were born of
the Virgin Mary in time.

In your humanity and person you sanctified motherhood
from the first instant of conception through all stages, for our salvation.

Recall all people to these divine blessings, to appreciate the unborn as persons and to enlighten every human being coming into this world.

In your mercy avert your just anger from the enemies of life, to allow God's infants to give him glory and to be crowned with the heavenly life of grace.

From the cross You called, "Behold your Mother."

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Prayer To The Virgin Mary after receiving Holy Communion

Mary, holy virgin mother,
I have received your Son, Jesus Christ.
With love you became his mother,
gave birth to him, nursed him,
and helped him grow to manhood.
With love I return him to you,
to hold once more,
to love with all your heart,
and to offer him to the Holy Trinity
as our supreme act of worship for
your honor and for the good
of all your children.
Mother, ask God to forgive my sins
and to help me serve him more faithfully.
Keep me true to Christ until death,
and let me come to praise him with you
for ever and ever. Amen.

The Eucharistic Prayer

How holy this feast in which Christ is our food; his passion is recalled; grace fills our hearts; and we receive a pledge of the glory to come.

You gave them bread from heaven to be their food; And this bread contained all goodness.

Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the eucharist as the memorial of your suffering and death.

May our worship of this sacrament of your body and blood help us to experience the salvation you won for us and the peace of the kingdom where you live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within thy wounds hide me.
Suffer me not to be separated from thee.
From the malicious enemy defend me.
In the hour of my death call me and bid me come unto thee That with thy saints I may praise thee forever and ever. Amen.

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, be my sanctification;
Body of Christ, be my salvation;
Blood of Christ, fill all my veins;
Water of Christ's side, wash out my stains;
Passion of Christ, my comfort be;
O good Jesu, listen to me;
In Thy wounds I fain would hide;
Ne'er to be parted from Thy side;
Guard me, should the foe assail me;
Call me when my life shall fail me;
Bid me come to Thee above,
With Thy saints to sing Thy love,
World without end. Amen.
The translation by John Henry Cardinal Newman

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus, while before you I humbly kneel and with burning soul pray and beseech you to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity, true contrition for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment; while I contemplate with great love and tender pity your five wounds, pondering over them within me and calling to mind the words which David, your prophet, said of you, my Jesus: "They have pierced my hands and my feet, they have numbered all my bones."

Act of Faith

O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe that the Divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead.  I believe these and all truths with the holy Catholic Church teaches, because thou hast revealed them, who canst neither deceive nor be deceived. Amen.

Act of Hope

O my God, relying on They infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of your grace and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Act of Love

O my God, I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul and with all my strength, because Thou art all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all whom I have injured. Amen.

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God, who are all-good and deserving of all my love.  I firmly resolve, with the help of thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and
to amend my life. Amen.

I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

The Angelus
The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary

Behold the handmaid of the Lord
Be it be done unto me according to thy word. Hail Mary

And the Word was made flesh
And dwelt among us. Hail Mary

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray; Pour forth, we beseech Thee O Lord, Thy
grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation
of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of
an angel, may by His passion and cross be brought to the
glory of His resurrection, through the same Christ Our
Lord. Amen
